This model shows a child’s ear at about 1 1/2 times life size. It illustrates the semicircular canals, and cochlea of the inner ear, auditory ossicles, otitis media (inflammation and simulated fluid in the middle ear), tympanic membrane and temporal and tympanic muscles. Also shown is a horizontal eustachian tube typical of a child.
