HaB Direct at ACPRC Conference 2019

We will be exhibiting POWERbreathe Inspiratory Muscle Training (IMT) and other better breathing products by POWERbreathe. HaB Direct is the official UK distributor for POWERbreathe IMT.

Inspiratory Muscle Training has been used to treat patients with exercise-induced vocal cord dysfunction (VCD).

Many treatment options for exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction (EILO) are derived from interventions used for vocal cord dysfunction in non-exercise situations. The most common treatment approach has included diaphragmatic breathing control. This study shows that respiratory muscle training may be useful for treating EILO.
