The Holtain Harpenden Stadiometer head-block can be adjusted vertically via miniature ball-bearing rollers in order to ensure a movement which is free yet without cross-play.
The main frame of Stadiometer is rigidly made of light alloy angle. The Harpenden Stadiometer is meant to be mounted vertically to a wall with included adjustable wall brackets for mounting purposes.
